yaruo: shingoy103: goyou: カマドウマについて調べていくうちに、カマドウマを上回る驚くべき生物に辿り着きました！ その名も！『ジャイアント・ウェタ！』　※ニュージーランドに生息。 世界最重量級のカマドウマ似の巨大コオロギで、メスだと１５㎝まで成長し、３０ｇ（ハツカネズミの約２倍ほど）とゆう、私でなくても不整脈を起こしてしまいそうなその姿！ジャイアント・ウェタは生命力もスバ抜けており、水中に沈めて４日間放置しても生きていて、沸騰したお湯に落としても生きていた！とゆう武勇伝を持っており、そのタフさにも驚かされます。 この『ジャイアント・ウェタ』が日本に生息していなくて本当に良かった。もし、床下でこの巨大生物が無数に生息し、待ちかまえていたら・・・。と思うとゾッとします。 日本で生を授かって本当に良かった。と、思う今日この頃でした。 (via 仙台のOMソーラーブログ　prolog-bLOG: 現場日記)
